"Striking Moments is a participatory improvisation method devised by Jake Baxendale. The premise is simple: to improvise, to strike upon moments of surprise and inspiration, and then strike at them, iterating, recontextualising and generating yet more striking moments. For this set, Jake will perform pieces created during his Masters research into improvisation, and from a series of weekly workshops that ran last year at Wellington's Pyramid Club.'
